I gotta say, this has been one of the best shopping experiences I've had in ages. My son saved up for months to buy himself a bike. The bike he got was not just a good deal, it was fantastic! There was a tiny hiccup with the dispatch, just a 24-hour delay. But when I reached out via chat, they actually called me to confirm that the bike would arrive on December 30th. Incredible value and service—I'd recommend them to anyone looking to buy a bike!

The support from the staff was truly outstanding—super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I picked up a Cube Attain back in November 2021 from Pedal Heaven because they had it in stock and the price was right. I've run into a recurring issue with the free hub and bearings because of water getting in. This meant I had to swap out the freehub twice. Each time, the service I received was exceptional. They even offered temporary solutions, like greasing the free hub and bearings, to keep my bike usable while I waited for the new parts from Cube to be installed under warranty.
Sadly, Pedal Heaven isn't my neighborhood bike shop (I really wish it was!), so every visit means a round trip of around 90 miles. Still, I'm more than willing to make that journey because the customer service has really impressed me.

I brought a Roval wheel to Pedal Heaven (PH) for a warranty issue since they were my local Specialized dealer. These wheels were pricey, retailing over £1,500, and were part of a high-end bike.

Pedal Heaven seemed hesitant to handle the repair, even though it was clearly within their dealer responsibilities. The manager mentioned he wouldn’t earn much from the job and that I’d have to cover his labor costs. He also tried to tell me the wheels had a two-year warranty until I pointed out it was actually a lifetime warranty. Eventually, he agreed to take the wheel, which needed a new rim and a rebuild.

Additionally, the factory ceramic bearings were a bit rough, so I asked if they could swap them for steel ones but keep the ceramics so I could try to smooth them out later. I was totally fine with paying for the new steel bearings since that wasn’t under warranty.

Later, I reached out to Specialized, and they confirmed that both parts and labor were indeed covered under the lifetime warranty.

After some time, I got a call from PH saying the wheels were ready. When I went to pick them up, I found out they had discarded the ceramic bearings, despite my request to keep them. Those bearings were worth £150 and still usable; I was hopeful I could service them myself. I was not pleased at all.

They also tried to charge me again for the labor on the rebuild. I stood my ground based on the email from Specialized and the fact they had tossed my bearings. They finally agreed, but it was clear they were reluctant.

Once I got the wheel home, I noticed it was running poorly. I took it back, and it turned out they had put the freehub back together wrong.

I took the wheel home again and rode it for two weeks until a spoke broke. Replacing the spoke was a hassle with tubeless tires, but then another spoke snapped a month later. Keep in mind, I had used these wheels for two years without any broken spokes, and now two broke in quick succession after their rebuild.

I ended up taking the wheel to an independent builder who pointed out that the tension was all off, even after replacing the spoke. In the end, I paid him to rebuild it properly, and it’s been working fine for several months now.

I don’t think I’ll return to Pedal Heaven. Their customer service was lacking, they discarded my parts, they were unaware of the product warranty as a dealer, and their work had to be redone by someone else.

I received truly great help from the team at this store. They quickly resolved a problem with my e-bike in no time and got me back on the road. Big thanks to Pedal Heaven!

I ordered a pricey yet quality Knog light online. The packaging inside was ripped open and then taped back together, and the standard-sized o-ring needed to attach the light was nowhere to be found, rendering the whole product useless.

I've been dealing with a persistent issue regarding the hub on the back wheel of my Specialised Roubaix. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and today they swapped out the bearings while I hung around. We talked about the issue, and I got to see the faulty part, plus they broke down why it was giving me trouble. I really value solid service, and Pedal Heaven always puts in the effort. Much appreciated!

Overall Rating - the motor on my bicycle broke down, and local repair shops couldn’t assist for a month or more. These folks got it sorted in just two days, handled the manufacturer, and took care of the warranty. Fantastic shop! I only wish I had purchased my bike from them! I’ll definitely do that next time. I've had awesome service time and again from Pedal Heaven. Their customer support is top-notch, and it's a safe spot during covid.

I've been going to Pedal Heaven for a couple of years now, mainly for repairs and maintenance. Each time, I've been impressed with the quality of their work and the service they provide. I had to schedule my last repair about ten days ahead since they were quite busy, but they managed to get me in a day earlier, which was great. They’re really serious about COVID precautions—there are hand sanitisers at the entrance and checkout, floor markings everywhere, a controlled entry system at the front, and no more access through the back (not that it’s a big deal, since there’s a car park right across the street that only charges 20p for half an hour). While I was there, they were cleaning the floor, which they apparently do at the end of each day. A special shoutout to Andrew, who was super friendly and took the time to explain everything I needed to know about my repair. Definitely recommend this place!

Dropped in for a couple of bike fixes. The customer service was top-notch and they really know their stuff when it comes to bikes. It might be a tad pricey, but considering how much we ride, it's worth it! This place is gonna be our go-to shop.
